Hand flat knitting forms the fundamental basis for the study of Knitwear Technology.

Based on the forecast for Fall/Winter 2009-10, an ensemble was to be created, using the hand flat knitting

technology. Incorporating the vital elements of the season, such as the female dandy look, tailored waistcoats,

chunky knits and open weave details and melange structures, the look was all about controlled volume combined

with sleek, powerful lines. Innovative yarns were amalgamated with cotton/wool yarns in a 2.5 gauge double

knit structure to create simple yet appealing surfaces.
